Nineteen-year member
Ben Johnson passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
That's 6983 days if you're counting. That's a long
time, but not enough for the members who knew him. He
was a Life Member. We were blessed to have him in ours.
Behind the slight exterior of a man was a huge person
who was brillant, smart and dedicated. In addition, he
was happy, friendly, god-fearing and willing to help those
in need. Dedicated. In his life career he
proudly served our nation as a US Air Force officer until he
retired. Dedicated. Ben was the longest
continuously serving member of the SPCUG/STUG Board of
Directors in our history.
It is an undertatement to say
we'll miss him. Thank you, Ben. |
