Dear fellow STUG Members,

There is always a silver lining in every disaster if we only look hard enough. When COVID-19 arrived to disrupt our lives, we adjusted our business model from seeing each other in person at the monthly meetings to staying home and seeing each other on a Zoom platform. The long and short of it is that Zoom is a lot cheaper than paying rent to the Sarasota Middle School.

Here comes the silver lining. Since our costs are down, we want to pass those savings onto you, our loyal members. Starting immediately, when your next annual payment comes due, DO NOT PAY IT! We will give you a free year. When it comes due again after your free year, you will only pay $30.00. The $30.00 is for singles or family memberships. If you have recently paid your dues, we thank you, and will not be sending you a rebate. However, when your next annual payment comes due, you will get your free year. For example, in early August, I paid $65.00 for my family membership. In August of 2021, I will not pay any dues. In August of 2022, my dues payment will be $30.00. 

We hope this email finds you well and safe from this unfortunate virus. We will try to find ways to get together in person again when it is safe to do so. We truly appreciate your loyalty.
