Resolving recent Windows 10 Internet connection problems
Recently, some users have experienced Internet connection issues which seem to be related the the Win10 version and recent updates.  Not all users are affected.

Microsoft has provided a short, easy method which solves the issue for a number of users.  The procedure will be familiar to many former DOS users.

  1. Right click Windows logo then select Run

  2. Type CMD  (in the black box) then click OK

  3. In the black window type     ipconfig/release  then press [Enter]

  4. In the black window type     ipconfig/renew    then press [Enter]

  5. In the black window type     Exit   then press [Enter]
If this procedure does not resolve the issue you may need to seek professional help.
